Unless you are a hermit, you most likely have rarely had a day go by without hearing one person speaking for a whole group. On the Logo channel, I watched an interviewer tell a person that “you are the favorite of all gay viewers (of that show)”. On the news, notice how the commentators say, “all Americans support/defend/ agree/disagree that (fill in the blank)”. How often do I say back to the TV, “not me, so I guess it’s not ALL Americans/gays/(whatever)”. It is very inappropriate and incorrect to speak for all of any group unless every person in that group voted unanimously to make you the one to speak in their name. The Logo interviewer could have said “many gays” and the news commentators could say “many Americans”….but they won’t. It’s counter to the sequentialization of Earth.

This is the hard-to-weed-out sequentialism that we simultaneous path incarnates must learn to break away from. The pit of sequentialism (constant group consensus) is a major part of the Game: you cannot do anything unless you have the group in agreement, or at least, the majority. Majority rules is sequentialism when it enforces its rule on the minority. People who are blinded by sequentialism cannot see how anything can be accomplished without operating as a single group. Removing one’s self from the trap is a major goal of the simultaneous path Higher Self. Group identity is body ID related and not  spirit ID related.

One’s Higher Self is very independent and will not participate unwillingly with others. Instead, the Higher Self invokes the Law of Allowance and moves on or observes. The Game requires that Higher Self incarnations get fully immersed in all the body ID flaws and traps of the sequential path. The vast bulk of our Game incarnations are sequential. Moving ahead to the simultaneous path is where the spirit matures and eventually overrides body ID with increased progression.

Rebellion, against the group consensus, in-Game ‘authority figures’ and surrendering of one’s individuality to the group, is spirit struggling with body ID. In-Game ‘authority figures’ are here to keep the individual down ‘to delay Graduation if possible’, hence the continual demand that one sacrifice and surrender to the group. The sequential mind-set cannot operate if too many realize that significant numbers of people no longer want to surrender their individuality and be miserable under majority rule. The top of the pyramid structure panics, in that case. If the bottom level, or at least a significant portion of it, decides to move in their unique directions, the pyramid (and their powers) would collapse.

The cornerstone of genuine independence is not the Dark polarity’s ‘all for me and my interests’ attitude. Instead it is: ‘I choose not to participate – do what you will, but leave me out of it’. That invokes the sequentially-feared Law of Allowance. It also implies no retaliation due to adhering to this Law will be tolerated.

On Earth, if you were truly free, you would, for example, be able to choose what taxes you wanted to pay for services you require. You would decline to pay taxes for services or policies you decline and no penalty could be incurred. How many wars would not occur if this were so? This choice would also apply to social programs as well. Decisions would challenge your body ID. In lower incarnational levels, one would want as much group cohesion as possible. As you spiritually advance, you recognize the value of independence more and more. This is where the Light ethics attempt to control you into group obedience. Light polarity hand wringing has less and less effect on you as you continue to progress due to your individual path needs. You pick and choose those issues that you choose to support and the level of support you give.

These are very difficult concepts to grasp at levels below Very Advanced. However, M5 is not written for everyone, but rather for those who have become identified as pre-Graduates of the Earth simultaneous path.

Watch the reaction of the group, and particularly the group spokesperson (usually an alpha type and self-appointed power taker) when you say you do not speak for me and I do not support this position. The group alpha usually gets pompous or condescending and tries to rally the group against you. ‘Peer pressure’ and ‘the will of the group’ are major sequential weapons. If you are sufficiently spirit ID’d, you are able to resist sacrificing group approval for individuality and loyalty to self. Being true to yourself by rejecting group ID (when you disagree with the group ID presented) is a personal test. Success brings advancement, but it is usually coupled with isolation, as the group rejects those who do not conform. This can be difficult. In some cases, some group member(s) may admire your stand and see that they agree more with your position. This encourages independent thinking. There is no right and wrong, just varied opinions and observations.

Remember the next time someone tries to drag you along with some group (nationality, race, gender, sexual orientation, region of the country, etc) that simultaneous path incarnates are striving for individuality. If the individual agrees with another or has certain traits in common, this does not mean that agreement is on everything.

Minions, of course, are always group oriented. The sequentials are counting on them to bring full Orionization to Earth. As you can see from how the planet is degenerating, the minions won’t disappoint them. For pre-Graduates, don’t hesitate to say ‘not me’ if you are being included in the herd mentality and disagree with them. “All Americans got behind von Bush on 9/11 and supported him” – not me since I knew the government did it and I know several others whose position agrees. Hence, it is not “ALL Americans”! You should understand what I mean.

Go within and find direction from your Higher Self. Do what you feel you must. Say what you feel you should say. Support causes you agree with, and withhold support from those you don’t, but beware of giving your power away to a group where instead of being an individual, you become a follower of someone all too eager to take your power.
